Goal of the event:
In our section every week we organize beach volley, so this week we did the same activity but we've adapted for EAW. We play volleyball with differents disability for how they feel and knows that everybody can practise some sports.
Short description of the event:
It was the last activity duriung the ExchangeAbility Week
Taking advantage of an excursion in the beach we play to volley experiencing different disabilities. We ask volunteers to play and eight encouraged erasmus so we did two teams of four.
First we lower the net and play sittin volley, later they encouraged to continue experimenting. We tie one hand and only they could throw the ball with a hand.
Finally we could create awareness and we explained the point of this even to some people around us. We believe that it was a great way to feel empathy with disabled people
How did your event go?:
They enjoy a lot, they prefer to play with one hand than play sitting volleyball. We will repeat the activity in differents occasions.
