Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
The goal was to show ESNers what it means when you are eating in the dark. How can be hard when you do not know what do you have in your plate, does it looks good? And you have to use your other senses like smell, touch and hearing.
Short description of the event:
During the event participants were blindfolded and were served food which they had to eat without seeing what it is or how much food is left on their plates. During the dinner students were asked to imagine various scenarios, for example, dining in a fancy restaurant, with the classical music playing to set the mood, or eating a dessert while pop music was streaming from the speakers in “Charlie Pizza” restaurant.
How did your event go?:
The feedback was very positive, participants were happy and gained better understanding of problems people with disabilities are facing, therefore, the plan to make it for larger public
Next time I need bigger OC team :)
