Goal of the event:
The aim of the project is to comprehend and to feel the difficulties of people who cannot hear us.
Short description of the event:
Hello everyone :)
Here is the first project that has been done by ESN Canakkale for ExhangeAbility Turkey in this fall semester.
We grouped the students (Turkish-Erasmus) and gave the earphone to one of them and turned the music up that the student could not understand what we said and we gave a small paragraph to the other student to read.
At the end of the activity, the student who had the earphone could not get anything about what the other student read.
How did your event go?:
In the final part of our activity, we asked the earphoned student how s/he felt. And the student said
"I comptelety find it difficult. Besides, it was hard to communicate because we did not understand each other. I wish I could learn the sign language."
The purpose is to raise awareness!
