Description
Aim of the event:
  • Promote mobility
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
To make erasmus students and esners raise their awareness about disabled people's lives and to make participants understand different side of disabled people's lives by trying to experience an art class without using hands.
Short description of the event:
As we are in the ExchangeAbility Week, on behalf of the international day of people with disabilities, 3th of December, we ran an art class in our school. We tried to paint without using our hands and by doing that we tried to experience a little part of disabled people's lives. We brought papers, paints and brushes to the class and hang the papers on a board. Then we tried to use the brushes with our mouths and tried to paint like that. No locals involved to the event. Just esners and erasmus students participated and even though we were a few people, we attained the aim of the event.
How did your event go?:
It went very well, we experienced something different. Participants said that it was very difficult to paint without using our hands and it was a very different experience. Now we are a little closer to understand disabled people.
