Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
We wanted to raise awareness about blindness and make Erasmus students experience the museum tour from a blind person perspective.
Short description of the event:
One group had blindfolds on while others explained to them what they saw. After that, students went again from the start to see what they envisioned.
How did your event go?:
Daria: "A new experience - close your eyes but get open senses and mind"
Dinara: "In the beginng it was a little bit scary but later I got used to it. It was so amazing to touch everything that surrounded me and compare it with what my guide told me. It made your imagination do the work and it's so cool!"
Diana: "It is the first time I visited a museum like that! It was truly fascinating because all my other senses took over control. Just by listening and touching the objects my partner was telling me to, I got to use my imagination and to create a picture in my head. Imagine how surprised I was when I took the blindfold off and saw how different the objects were in reality! It was amazing!"
