Goal of the event:
We organised this ExchangeAbility Tandem Language Meeting to show everyone how people with disabilities struggle with everyday activities, how to help them and make their lives easier. Also by this event we wanted to promote ExchangeAbility programme, show benefits of it and to promote mobility of people with disabilities.
Short description of the event:
We organised this ExchangeAbility Tandem Language Meeting to show everyone how people with disabilities struggle with everyday activities, how to help them and make their lives easier. During meeting we raised awareness by organising test in Braille alphabet and chatting in the dark acitivity. This way we could show students how people with visual impairment cope with everyday activities. Also by this event we wanted to promote ExchangeAbility programme, show benefits of it and to promote mobility of people with disabilities. We talked about our mission and that every person, even with disabilities, can travel to other countries and take part in exchagne programme.
