How many things do you know about it though..?

A Sign Language (also signed language) is a language which chiefly uses manual communication to convey meaning, as opposed to acoustically conveyed sound patterns. This can involve simultaneously combining hand shapes, orientation and movement of the hands, arms or body, and facial expressions to express a speaker's thoughts. Nowadays, it's being used by about 70 million deaf people who use sign language as their first language or mother tongue, and it is also the first language and mother tongue to many hearing people and some deafblind people (tactile sign languages).

9th of March, ESN Thessaloniki is organizing an open trainning about Sign Language with the aid of Prof. Theodoros Martzos of the University of Macedonia. In this seminar we will have the chance to learn about Sign Language as well as take an actual class of basic communication in it too!!
