From 14 to 17 May 2026, representatives of the Erasmus Student Network gathered in Prague, Czech Republic, for the Spring General Assembly. The elected representatives will lead the Network through the upcoming mandate, ensuring continuity while advancing ESN’s strategic priorities and organisational development.
A central part of the agenda focused on strengthening ESN’s governance and internal operations. Delegates discussed the ongoing revision of the Statutes and Internal Rules, contributing to the development of a clearer and more effective governance framework for the Network. The General Assembly also approved the new internal Events Policy, establishing common standards for the organisation and management of ESN’s international events.

Further discussions addressed the digital transition of the ESNcard and the opportunities it brings for improving accessibility, membership services, and the overall experience of international students and ESN volunteers. The Assembly also fulfilled its key financial and strategic responsibilities by approving the Financial Report and adopting the Action Plan for the upcoming academic year, setting the priorities and direction for the next mandate.
The Spring General Assembly in Prague demonstrated the strength of ESN’s participatory decision-making and the commitment of its members to building a more sustainable, inclusive, and forward-looking organisation.
