Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
Let people question why we were doing blindfolded karaoke and explain the concept of ExchangeAbility to them. The goal is to make people confused so that they start asking questions to the people around them and then the ESN Antwerp team comes around and explain the concept to them.
Short description of the event:
Karaoke is simple, you chose a song and then try your best to sing along by reading the lyrics projected on screen. This is easy if you can see, however, what we came up with was blindfolding some persons with a scarf so that they can't see. What happens then is that they can't read the screen so they have to sing the song as best as they can by heart, which isn't easy.

Hilarity ensued, but people also started questioning why we blindfolded people. Then the local ESN Antwerp team went around and started explaining to everybody exactly what the concept of ExchangeAbility is.
How did your event go?:
Rather well because everybody was pretty confused at first and then we went around and explained it to them.
