Goal of the event:
The aim of the event was to make Erasmus students have a funny conversation with people with disabilities and to make them be aware of how the obstacles they may find when moving in wheelchairs in Caceres.
Short description of the event:
It was a thematic meeting in which people with and without disabilities gathered together. We went to a restaurant which was accessible. We had coffee with users from other associations while having an interesting conversation, this time about Star Wars. After that, the Esners and the Erasmus students accompanied COCEMFE users in wheelchairs back to the association. We all shared a really nice walk and commenting on the physical barriers we found in the way. Also, the Erasmus students talked with them about accessibility in their corresponding countries and some of the measures that the government was taking to solve those physical barriers.
How did your event go?:
It went really well. The erasmus students showed themselves very involved with them. They really liked the event and enjoyed the walk back to the association.
