Description
Aim of the event:
  • Promote mobility
  • Raise Awareness
  • Make ESN Accessible
Goal of the event:
The aim of this seminar in collaboration with FONCE is to encourage students with disabilities to go abroad with the Erasmus programme. To achieve this, specific information about the programme and some student’s experiences are provided.
Short description of the event:
The design of this awareness-raising seminar is based on a participatory methodology and has been developed in collaboration with Fundation ONCE and COCEMFE (Spanish Confederation of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities). The International Relations Office also participated in this seminar. A sign language interpreter attended as well. The main points developed were the following:

1. The importance of participating in a international mobility programme.
2. Types of programs available in the Erasmus+ 2017 programme.
3. How to access a international mobility program? Scholarships and resources available to students with disabilities.
4. What can I get from an Erasmus experience?
- Examples of good practice. Two students with disabilities that went on the Erasmus programme last year talked about their experiences.
- How ESN can help the students in their stay.

Following this, there were lots of activities and games such as boccia, linguistic exchanges, etc. in which all the attendants could participate.
