The second ExchangeAbility site visit took place in Brussels, from 14 to 16 February 2011. The event was organized by Erasmus Hogeschool Brussel.
This site visit provided the participants with an opportunity to have an insight to the functioning of the European Parliament and the Committee for Education and Culture and for the employment and social affairs. They also visited several university buildings in the city.
The last day of the event was dedicated to round tables and engaged the participants in discussion. The site visit brought together different city representatives, housing officers, a senator and some NGOs and organization dealing with disability issues. Speakers focused attention upon the issues related to policies on disabilities as well to problems with accessibility.
