Welcome Service Decription: 
At the start of each academic year Buckinghamshire New University provides a welcome event called "The Bucks Welcome", to give students a rounded introduction to university life and arranges a full week of activities to help them settle in.

This includes special opening ceremonies at the Wycombe Swan Theatre in High Wycombe, where students were addressed by figures including Vice Chancellor, Professor Ruth Farwell.
