Goal of the event:
ESN ASSI Parma organized the event for getting the Erasmus students and all the other participants of the event in the shoes of deaf people to challenge our senses and our capability.
Short description of the event:
It was a tandem night. At the beginning we had a normal aperitivo. Then, ESN members ask erasmus and the other participants of the event to get up and go in a corner. We blindfolded all of them and put the all the participant in pairs with people they have never talked to before. Holding their hands, we carry them to their table and to let them known there was the other persone we put the arms of one of the couple on the shoulder of the other. Being blindfolded forced all of them to be focused on what the other half of the couple was saying. We let them talk for 20 minutes more or less and then we mixed up all the couples, moving one person of the couple.
How did your event go?:
It was really nice. Erasmus students enjoyed the night and said it was really difficult because the were too much noise in the room so it was hard to be focused. We will definitely repeat the event.
