Goal of the event:
Our goal was to show the everyday life of people with diabilities and open the eyes of the foreign students how is when someone is blind and never sees anything.
Short description of the event:
21th of March 5 PM Katlan Klub Gödöllő, Hungary. Our 2 local ESNer invited the exchange students to our very first own ExchangeAbility event which was a blinfolded date night. Luckily 5 boys and 5 girls participated so the participants number was divisible by two. They were sitting opposite each other and they were talking about different topics, they had 2 minutes for answer the questions what they got from the first memory of their childhood to the biggest mistake what they ever did. After two mins their changed the partner and the conversation was continued with an other person. Although at first they were confused and felt uncomfortable, finally everyone was grateful and able to talk with their partner.
After the event everyone shared their experiences with the others and with the organizers.
