Goal of the event:
The goal of our event was to give students at our university some information about disabilities and how we could help disabled people. We also aimed to give awareness and some information about Down's Syndrome.
Short description of the event:
We made a small booth at Gazi University's rectorate building. Some students who were attending the Erasmus Meeting came to our booth and we talked about what they knew about disabilities. Some students were quite eager to get some information from us. We handed out the brochures we made for ExchangeAbility Week. The brochure we made contained some information about how to help disabled people such as, how we should not park on sidewalks so that visually impaired people can walk on the sidewalk. The brochure also had a part where we gave some information about Down's Syndrome. We also answered the questions the students had like, how they could help disabled people and how they could raise awareness about people who have a disability and need help.
How did your event go?:
It went pretty well. People told us that they liked the brochure we prepared.
