Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
The goal was to raise awareness for people with disabilities when deciciding to go on Erasmus. They sometimes may think that there are many barriers and decide not to go. So, in this event we aimed to provide lots of information and encourage them to go.
Short description of the event:
This was an event for the Erasmus week that was being organized by the International Office. The EA team decided to join them so that to encourage people with disabilities to go on Erasmus. We provided lots of information (posters, visual materials, etc.) and we also had different Erasmus students telling about their experiences and solving later individual doubts. We explained every help students with disabilities can have abroad and that most of the times they are not aware of them. As it was held in the campus canteen, there were some biscuits and coffee to help create a friendly environment so that they could talk and share experiences with each other.
How did your event go?:
Really well, many people came to the event. There were lots of posters and visual materials so that they had all the information. Also, many Erasmus students living in Cáceres told them about their experiences.
