Goal of the event:
Awareness of society and erasmus about the importance of signs during the talks, training on sign language, its peculiarities. Activity with sign language.
Awareness function about the need for different means of communication before different sensorial disabilities.
Short description of the event:
Erasmus student dinner during which an activity with sign language was carried out. They were given an alphabet of the manual positions of each letter to be able to make examples, and other folios in which they explained to them other activities to realize, like size or forms to describe. They were explained the importance of being identified by a sign and they were invited to participate thanks to the help of a coordinator trained in sign language in spelling his name. Each Erasmus had to spell its name and later in pairs carry out activities of identification of sizes, etc. Each student proposed for a sign to describe him.
How did your event go?:
It was a very complete, enriching and fun activity for the erasmus. They became aware of the importance of sign language for people who need it and to interact with society.
