Goal of the event:
Speech disorders or speech impediments are a type of communication disorder where 'normal' speech is disrupted. This can mean stuttering, lisps, etc. Someone who is unable to speak due to a speech disorder is considered mute. As ESN Bogazici, we wanted to raise awareness about this disability.

Today is the 5th day of the ExchangeAbility Week and we are here with yet another event!
Speech disorders or speech impediments are a type of communication disorder where 'normal' speech is disrupted. This can mean stuttering, lisps, etc. Someone who is unable to speak due to a speech disorder is considered mute.
As ESN Bogazici, we wanted to raise awareness about this speech disorder, which is extremely important, and distributed brochures in campus. Most of the people did not know about the disability and all the feedback made us really happy!
