Goal of the event:
The purpose of this event was to raise awareness about the people who are blind and the project was named as "Dinner in the Dark". Also, the staff joined us. So, actually we also had a chance to understand the difficulties of vision disorder in work life.
Short description of the event:
As ESN Trabzon, we decided to make a project about the people who are blind or have vision disorders. In this purpose, Erasmusers, ESNers and members met up in a cafe. First of all, we gave some information about Exchange Ability and the project to the participants. After the short explanation, we tied all the members' eyes and asked them to try to eat. During the project, we took photos and recorded several videos so we could post them in our social media pages and raise awareness. In the end of the event, the staff came to our table and they also wanted to experience this. After that, we also tied the chef waiter's eyes and he tried to clean the table.
How did your event go?:
It had gone amazing! Also, the staff joined us and it was one of the signs that we were successful to create awareness.
