Goal of the event:
The goal of this event is to raise awareness about the people who have Down Syndrome and to support them. So everybody could understand the difficulties in their life and feel empathy with them.
Short description of the event:
It was the first Exchange Ability event of ESN Trabzon. We visited a Down Cafe and did our best to support the staff. All the ESNers and members had such a great time with them. First of all, we met them in the cafe and after that, we had a breakfast altogether and enjoyed talking to each other and teaching folk dance figures. All the ESNers and members were so happy about the project and we were glad to leave a smile on their face. On the way back of home, we all mentioned that we should visit them more often.
How did your event go?:
The whole event had gone very well. We all spent amazing time with them and all the feedback about the event was totally positive. There's only one thing we should do is to visit them more often.
