Goal of the event:
Within the scope of ExchangeAbility Week, we visited Down Café as ESN Yasar on March 21, which is the World Down Syndrome Awareness Day.
We would like to thank Mayor Olgun Atila for making this achievement to Bornova by supporting student programs and social projects.
Short description of the event:
As ExchangeAbility committe, we visited our friends in Down Cafe. This place is very close to our university. Our friends with down syndrome who work there are love us very much. so, We are trying to go often and we try to make them happy with visitation. We share this place and visitation on all social media to announce it and make awareness. Our support is increasing over time. Because they are no different from us. They should not be excluded from society. We hope that the number of Down Cafes increases and everyone goes and support them in there.
How did your event go?:
Everything was alright and very beautiful. Everyone was very pleased. We were very pleased with the feedback of our friends who came there.
