Goal of the event:
Marking the International Down Syndrome Day by organising the Photo Hunt with the Association that deals with the people with this syndrome in order to get them familiar with our town and to make them feel accepted and intergrated into our everyday life and the rest of the society.
Short description of the event:
In collaboration with Association "Bubamara" (Ladybug) from Vinkovci and Council of Youth of Osjecko-baranjska county we organized Photo Hunt which allowed our visitors from Vinkovci to see our city in a fun way and provide them with an opportunity to network with our members and Erasmus students during an informal coffee date afterwards. This day marks Down Syndrome day which we saw as a perfect opportunity to throw an activity for an Association that deals mainly with people with Down Syndrome. How did we play this game? Really simple. Participant were divided into 3 groups and were given envelopes which contained: a map with the rout, 10 pieces og pictures that show a part of some building in a route and two written taks (take a selfie with a tram and film your group saying something in Croatian).
How did your event go?:
The activity went really well. We even got questions about organising it again. Participants had a great time walking around the city with tasks to fulfill as well as meeting new people that participated along the way. Next photo hunt will involve different tasks and locations which participants will have to find.
