Goal of the event:
Promote mobility and give information about the different programs that students can apply for going abroad plus raising awareness and provide information to all those students with any disability in order to show them how accessible can be for them to go study to another country and the support avalaible.
Short description of the event:
First, the members of the University of Murcia gave a presentation about their Mobility programs such as Erasmus +, ISEP... and what it comprises. Then, there was a small presentation about ESN, explaining who we are and our different proyects (SE, EiS, Mov'in Europe...) leaving for the end and focusing a little bit more on ExchangeAbility. After that, it was the turn of the ONCE institution (FONCE). They were talking about the different scholarships and support that they can provide to all those students with disabilities in order to help them during their stay abroad. Their main goal was trying to cheer all those students with a disability to go and apply for a mobility program. Later, the SAD (Diversity Atention Service) was explaining their perfomance in the university and told everyone about different examples of students with disabilities that have come to Murcia with a mobility program. Also, some participants in the session were talking about their experiences in their mobility program.
How did your event go?:
It went very good but, sadly, the attendance wasn't very high. Anyway, all people who came were very satisfied with the information received.
