Goal of the event:
The goal of this event was to show Erasmus students how disabled people make art. We wanted to show them that nothing is impossible and that everyone can follow her/his dreams.
Short description of the event:
The event took place in a bar in the centre of Lodz. We met there at 6 pm. First, we explained fundamentals of ExchangeAbility project to Erasmus students, then we talked them through our other events during ExchangeAbility week. Finally, we gave a sheet of paper, set of paint and a brush to each student. They started painting but were forbidden to use their hands. At first it was difficult to them, but as time passed it started to fell quite natural! Erasmus students started sharing their thoughts about this event and its goal. They even created some masterpieces! After the event students were really thankful.
How did your event go?:
Our event was very successful! It went very well. Both organisers and students had a lot of fun. Everyone really enjoyed and asked for move events like this one.
