Goal of the event:
In Thessaloniki the ExchangeAbility project is not that famous, so with this movie night we wanted to slightly emerge the Erasmus students into it and get to know it in the easy way. It was like a 'preheat' for the bigger EA events that we are planning haha.:)
Short description of the event:
The movie that we saw ('Black 2005') is the perfect movie for the EA project because it is about Michelle: a girl that can neither see nor hear, and her dream to study at the University (and of course graduate)! We gathered around 9.00 pm and we chatted about how they feel about people with disabilities , but in a relaxed atmosphere. Then we offered them pop-corn and coca cola (and other sodas) for free of course.:D At the end of the movie we were all hugging each other and the atmosphere was tense. We continued discussing about Michelle and how brave she is. It was awesome :D
How did your event go?:
Erasmus people (and also Greek ones that joined) ended up crying their souls out of this beautiful movie. Next time more napkins :D
