Goal of the event:
Visit of the museum of the Once, to be able to visit through other senses each monument of Spain and other international places. Explore any corner of the world without the sense of sight, if not with other senses.
Short description of the event:
The activity was carried out in the museum of the Once, in Madrid, in an accessible facilities. It took the Erasmus to the plant where there is a museum of small models of places and monuments typical of Spain and Madrid and also of different cities of the world. This activity was carried out thanks to a guide of the association Eleven, which gave the activity in English, the guide was a visually impaired person. During the visit we had to help him with some obstacles that were in the room since his visual perception was very reduced. At the same time he explained each monument with detailed explanations so that we could understand the purpose of touching monuments in models helps people with visual disabilities. We did an activity with antifaces to explain and guess the place we were playing.
How did your event go?:
It was a very rewarding activity for the Erasmus students who participated and went to the guided tour of the association Once. Erasmus came out very happy and participated in each of the proposed activities. The head of communication was presented and asked questions.
