Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
In No Disability at the Arena, our aim was to make an awareness for the people who cannot walk. We would like to see and experience how do they feel.
Short description of the event:
Wheelchair basketball is basketball played by people with varying physical disabilities that disqualify them from playing an able-bodied sport. These include spina bifida, birth defects, cerebral palsy, paralysis due to accident, amputations (of the legs, or other parts), and many other disabilities.

In this event, people who cannot walk plays basketball and if non-disabled people would like to experience and to understand how do they feel, they can join as player also! It shows the equality between disabled and non-disabled people. People also can support the team and realize that there is no difference between usual basketball and wheelchair basketball. And you can have fun from both of them.
How did your event go?:
It was a good event. For our participants, it was a good way to make an awareness and they experience it is not that easy. And for next time, we would like to do for different kind of sports in different ways.
