Goal of the event:
promote mobility in people with disabilities bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla
Short description of the event:
The University of Seville organizes a campus where people with disabilities learn for a week how the university encourages them to go through their classrooms. ESN Sevilla was able to attend this campus to give a talk about international mobility. We explain what the ERASMUS + program is, what ESN is, and what we do.
We were lucky that a last year's erasmus with visual impairment was able to come with us and tell us about their experience.
To finish we made two games so that the talk became more enjoyable. We used a very recurring activity, it was a blind tandem. Flags of different countries of Europe were distributed, the boys had to try to communicate being of different countries and with the difficulty of not seeing.
The last game was shorter with the intention of having fun. They had to guess blindfold who was the person next to him talking.
How did your event go?:
The guys had a great time. I think the best part of the talk was that Stijn, the disabled erasmus, told his own experience. A girl began to cry, being reflected and surprised by the capacity of improvement she had last year. In my opinion, many were left with the desire to be able to surpass themselves and to be able to participate in this great experience.
