Goal of the event:
Explanation of the ExchangeAbility Project to our ESN members. We want that everyone of ESN Tomar team understand every project that exist in ESN, so then can support our project team, and they can be more involved in every activities.
Short description of the event:
The activity consisted on a Workshop to talk about the ExchangeAbility Project. We started by showing a presentation about the project, entitled "Life is like a box of chocolates", created by ESN PT and a reference to the acclaimed movie "Forest Gump". The second part of the workshop was to explain what is ExchangeAbility, for who this project is aimed at (we want that everyone, regardless of their condition, to feel included). The third part we talked about how we can make our events more accessible, so we can have more participants and be an inclusive association/section. The last part we start a discussion about if our University is accessible for all the students, because we want to Map our campus.
How did your event go?:
It went really well, because everyone that joined understood the goal of the project. In the end we talked about if our University is accessible for all students.
